The Impact of Covid – the tsunami of “shadow” Pandemics

Restrictions and quarantine conditions are associated with significant increases in other “shadow” psychological and social pandemics. Many of which, even before Covid, had numbers that were pandemic in number. Now these previous extreme numbers are significantly escalating due to the “shadow” impact of Covid restrictions and regulations, including


  • Suicide

  • Mental Illness (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, and more)

  • Self-harm

  • Substance abuse

  • Alcoholism

  • Domestic violence aka Intimate Terrorism

  • Gaming

  • Pornography

  • Gambling

  • Obesity

  • Diabetes
